President, Richard A. Loreto Consulting Limited
Richard Loreto is the president of R.A.L. Consulting Limited, a management-consulting firm based in Hamilton, Ontario that works with clients across Canada and in the United States.
Richard has advised both private and public sector organizations on the cost-effective development of business strategy. He is an acknowledged leader in the use of demographic analysis to manage the issues impacting a client’s products or services, work force, or marketing approaches as a result of the aging and increasing diversity of the population in Canada and the United States. His firm also specializes in stakeholder consultation using tools such as survey research and focus groups.
Prior to working as a consultant full-time, Richard was an Ontario public servant and a university professor. He holds an Honours B.A. and M.A. in political science from the University of Windsor and a Ph.D. in political science and public administration from the University of Toronto. He has taught course at four Ontario universities and is the author of a number of scholarly publications, government reports, and popular articles.
In
addition to his consulting work, Richard is a popular conference speaker
on the topic of demographic trends and their impacts on the marketplace.
Recently, presentations have been made to Cavendish Farms, the Insurance
Institute of Canada, Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists, and the Building
and Construction Trades Department, Canadian Office, AFL-CIO.
